Per Diem Services Visits
DBI’s Per Diem Service visits are designed to troubleshoot, repair and train our customer’s operator and maintenance personnel to efficiently and effectively operate and maintain metal processing machinery. Our technicians are trained in the practices of metal working and the maintenance of metal working equipment. Our objective is to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the equipment and to provide the most accurate information available to allow our customer’s operation team to support the operation of their equipment. Supervision of New Equipment Installations
DBI Service and Installations Teams are made up of skilled steel mill engineers and technicians who recognize the importance of safety, quality and expedience of the installation process. The installation supervision teams are designed to assist in the installation of new equipment or relocation of existing equipment or equipment retrofits.
DBI provides technicians to assist in the installation, start up and training for both your maintenance and operation personnel. Typically with new equipment purchases the cost associated with this service is included in the purchase price of the equipment. Our customers can rest assured that they are receiving all the support and assistance required without any additional cost. Services are limited to reasonable durations for the interest of all parties involved, the duration is clearly defined in DBI Technical/Commercial proposal.

Turn Key Installation
DBI provides turnkey services, based upon customer requirements. Typically based on the following three methods:

Complete Installation on Customer Provided Foundations

Complete Installation on DBI Provided Foundations

Complete Building Erection, Civil Works and Equipment Installation
Depending on the scope of work, DBI’s teams will either be dispatched from our manufacturing headquarters and/or we work with local subcontractors to carry out the tasks in order to ensure a successful project. In these cases, DBI assumes full responsibility for the projects. |
Engineering
DBI has, on staff, a complete team of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Civil and Process Engineers totally dedicated to the design and technological development of flat rolled metal processing equipment. Our engineering teams are made up of experienced designers, many of which bring years of “hands on” experience from some of the most reputable machinery manufactures, steel mills and service centers in the world.
Our experienced design team utilizes the latest computer aided design (CAD) software in 2D and 3D to assists our customers in equipment design, plant and equipment layout, material flow and control strategy to establish the most effective, efficient and profitability outcome for the investment. |

Additionally, DBI Engineering Service can provide mechanical and electrical engineered solutions for the refurbish and retrofit for restoring, upgrading and extending the service life of older equipment. |

DBI’s 200,000+ SF operation and manufacturing facility is committed to the construction of heavy industrial machinery. Our facility is equipped with modern machine tools, fabricating equipment and quality control systems. However the most important component of our operation is our experienced 150+designers, engineers, machinist, welders, assemblers, electricians, and process control technicians that build our world class products for you. |
