Slitting Lines

DELTA’s Slitting Lines are utilized by customers who demand the highest quality and productivity from their equipment. Our wide range and types of Slitting Lines for flat rolled metals range from 1.00” (25mm) to 0.008” (0.020mm) with strip widths from 96” (2,500mm) to 24”(610mm).

Our numerous innovations, such as the “Fiber Equalizer,” “Injector Head Carriage” and the “Rotary Tooling Exchanger,” have solved the requirements for ferrous and nonferrous mills, service centers, tube mills and manufacturers throughout the world.

DELTA’s depth of products allows us to satisfy our customers’ every requirement. Our Slitting Lines can be equipped with scrap ballers, scrap winders or scrap choppers. We offer drag-pad tension units as well as roller tension devices.

DELTA has successfully designed and manufactured two of the largest Slitting Lines in the United States. Our design expertise and unique approach to problem solving has allowed us to produce slitters previously thought to be impossible. Using the brute strength of our equipment, our customers have developed markets by offering perfectly slit heavy-gauge coils. Automotive manufacturers have made double use of our slitting line by combining the slitting and inspection processes.
